Position Overview

The Chief of operations is in charge of top and coordinating all business processes of the Islamic Finance House in line with Shariah principles, compliance obligations, and the institution’s strategic targets. The position ensures smooth and conforming implementation of all back-workspace and assist methods which includes account processes, funding processes (Murabaha, Ijara, etc.), client support, transaction processing, and digital banking structure.

Islamic Process management:

• Supervise processing of Islamic finance financial record which includes Murabaha, Mudarabah, Ijara, Istisna’a, and Wakalah.
• Ensure proper recordkeeping and Shariah confirmation of all funding and financial funding processes.
• Track disbursements, settlements, and repayments in accordance with agreement systems.

People & Results tracking:

• Head and formulate a top-performing processes team.
• Set effectiveness targets, carry out assessments, and execute capacity-building plans tailored to Islamic finance processes.
• Advance an environment that fosters competence, honesty and reliability, and ongoing development.

Credentials & Expertise

• Bsc in Finance, Economics, Business Management, or a relevant field.
• Specialist qualifications in Islamic finance (e.g., CIFP, AAOIFI, or IFQ) are highly preferred.
• At least 10 years’ expertise in banking / financial solutions, with a minimum of 5 years in process management within an Islamic or non-interest financial institution.
• Solid understanding of Islamic finance principles, systems, and business qualifications.
• Understanding with compliance obligations in Nigeria (CBN, NDIC, FRCN, etc.).
