Role summary

  • We are looking for an structured and meticulous Fleet/Logistics manager to supervise the management of our fleet and organize logistics processes.
  • The successful applicant will ensure the productive and prompt movement of goods, oversee vehicle servicing & maintenance plans, enhance routes, and guarantee adherence with supporting rules.
  • This role requires robust planning abilities, a initiative-driven mindset, and the capability to operate under pressure.

Responsibilites

  • Supervise the daily processes of the organization’s fleet, which includes vehicle planning, servicing & maintenance, and adherence with safety rules.
  • Organize logistics for the transportation of goods, making sure on-time dispatch and cost effectiveness.
  • Track fleet effectiveness, which includes vehicle requirement, fuel usage, and route optimization, and endorse enhancements.
  • Oversee the planning of drivers, making sure proper distribution of assets based on requirement and effectiveness.
  • Preserve precise records of fleet initiatives, which includes vehicle inspections, repairs, coverage, and other necessary recordkeeping.
  • Work alongside drivers and other teams to settle logistical hurdles and setbacks.
  • Guarantee adherence with local, state, and federal rules, which includes transportation safety and authorizing qualifications.
  • Organize documentation on fleet and logistics effectiveness, which includes fuel usage, servicing & maintenance expenses, and dispatch times.
  • Bargain and sustain connections with third-party logistics vendors, vendors, and service providers.
  • Organize with the procurement team to oversee the purchase of new vehicles or tools as necessary.
  • Execute periodic inspections of vehicles and tools to guarantee they meet business guidelines and safety qualifications.

Qualifications

  • Bsc in Mechanical Engineering, Logistics, Stock Chain Management
  • Demonstrated expertise in fleet management, logistics synchronization, or a similar position.
  • Deep knowledge of fleet management operational structures, logistics software, and resources.
  • Understanding with transportation and safety rules.
  • Robust corporate and time-leadership abilities.
  • Capability to operate productively under pressure and deliver within strict timelines.
  • Clear articulation and people skills.
  • Analytical abilities and a initiative-driven approach to addressing logistical hurdles.
  • Expertise in discussing terms with suppliers, service vendors, and other external associates.
  • Expertise in GPS operational structures, route organizing, and vehicle tracking operational structures.
