Chief Technician at Unified Payments Services Limited in Lagos

Position Overview

The Chief Technician will head the technical processes of the company, making sure all electrical, cooling (Air conditioning), and associated structure operational structures are functioning optimally. The position requires a practical leader with robust domain expertise in both electrical operational structures and Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (Hvac), competent of directing technicians, carrying out preventive servicing & maintenance, and responding to system problems across the organization’s workspaces and facilities.

Primary duties

• Oversee and organize all technical servicing & maintenance initiatives including ACs, power operational structures, and electrical system setups.
• Supervise the standard procedure servicing, installation, and fix of all types of AC units and electrical parts inside the organisation’s facilities.
• Diagnose faults, execute preventive servicing & maintenance, and diagnose issues Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning and electrical operational structures.
• Oversee a team of in-house technicians and external service vendors for electrical and mechanical assist.
• Ensure prompt solution of technical faults and ensure at least non-operational time of critical tools.
• Keep documentation of repairs, solutions, and plans for all electrical and Air conditioning assets.
• Formulate and execute standard operating standardized processes for tools servicing & maintenance and technical safety procedures.

Credentials

Interested applicants should have an Higher national diploma / Bsc with 7 - 10 years work expertise.
