Chief of operations - Fashion In-store at HRLeverage Africa in Gwarimpa, Abuja (FCT)

About the Position

HRLeverage Africa is at present hiring a highly structured and result-oriented specialist to supervise the day-to-day activities of an expanding fashion in-store business with various outlets in Abuja. The preferred candidate will be in charge of directing all business units, which includes sales, generation, logistics, client support, stock, and entire process optimization across sites.

Primary duties

• Offer strategic and business executive guidance across in-store outlets, generation, and back-workspace teams.
• Oversee and ensure smooth daily processes across all operational units: sales, logistics, stock, and fashion designers.
• Establish and preserve business operational structures and SOPs that assist in-store effectiveness and client fulfillment.
• Supervise quality assurance across tailoring/generation and guarantee promptness dispatch of custom and prepared-to-wear items.
• Track stock levels and work alongside the logistics/store officer to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
• Collaborate with client-facing employees to settle service issues, elevate support dispatch, and improve customer experience.
• Organize with the social platforms/online business development team to align physical store processes with digital business promotion & sales endeavors.
• Oversee plans, set KPIs for unit-specific employees, and carry out periodic effectiveness assessments.
• Preserve supplier connections and bargain favorable terms on buys as required.
• Track operational indicators and produce consistent business documentation for management.
• Guarantee adherence with organisation rules, safety guidelines, and work rules.
• Head hiring process, orientation, and development endeavors for store and production worker.

Qualifications

• Bsc in Business Management, Process management, or a relevant field.
• At least 3 years of expertise in process management, ideally in fashion in-store or buyer goods.
• Established leadership and team synchronization competencies.
• Solid understanding of stock, generation, and logistics operational structures.
• Task juggling skill in a dynamic environment and oversee cross-operational teams.
• Outstanding corporate, information exchange, and analytical abilities.
• Understanding with in-store key indicators and finance reporting.
• Required location Abuja.
