Accounting officer at the Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN) in Ikeja, Lagos

Position summary

This is a full-time in-field position for an Accounting officer located in Lagos. The Accounting officer will be in charge of preserving finance records, getting ready balance sheet and income statement, coordinating outstanding bills and receivable, processing wage processing, and making sure adherence with financial rules. The position includes financial planning and predicting, adjusting financial statements, and helping with audits and tax filings. Additionally, the Accounting officer will offer financial evaluation and assist for strategic judgment methods inside the organisation.

Credentials

• Higher national diploma / Bachelor's degree Academic qualification in Accounting
• The individual must possess 5- 7 years of expertise in accounting or finance, ideally in a similar affiliation or non-profit company and a robust logical, issue resolution, and verbal abilities.
• Competence in Financial Document Keeping, which includes preserving finance records and getting ready balance sheet and income statement
• Expertise with Outstanding bills and Receivable Management
• Competencies in Wage processing Processing and making sure Adherence with Financial Rules
• Ability in Financial planning and Predicting
• Capability to resolve financial statements and oversee audits and tax filings
• Critical thinking for Financial Evaluation and strategic judgment assist
• Outstanding documented and spoken communication competencies
• Bsc in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field; specialist qualifications which includes CPA or ACCA are a plus
• Competence with financial system and Ms office tools, especially Excel
• Robust meticulousness and capability to operate independently
