The Material Servicing & maintenance Officer is accountable for managing the issuance, tracking, and settlement of spare parts and materials used in servicing & maintenance processes. This position ensures precise SAP records, productive inventory regulate, and aids workshop processes by managing material accessibility and usage across business units.

Primary duties

• Evaluate truck servicing & maintenance record to confirm previously issued spare parts.
• Calculate kilometers covered by trucks between spare issuances to evaluate material needs.
• Produce and oversee servicing & maintenance orders in SAP to guarantee smooth process.
• Ensure servicing & maintenance updates are elevated with precise alert types.
• Close servicing & maintenance orders every month to coordinate prompt account settlements.
• Increase booking arrangements for spare parts across all servicing & maintenance workshops.
• Ensure spares are issued in SAP using accurate material codes and recordkeeping.
• Coordinate with storekeepers to resolve SAP inventory balances with physical stock.
• Track inventory levels to prevent shortages or excesses, assisting just-in-time accessibility.
• Organize tools transfers between business units.
• Track and record inter-plant movement of trucks and associated assets.
• Assist the coding and initiating of new trucks in SAP.
