Job Description

We are looking for an skilled and outcomes-driven Farm operations manager to supervise the processes of our rice farms in Lafia, Nasarawa.
This position requires robust agriculture-based expertise, business executive guidance, and a dedication to maintainable procedures
The preferred candidate will oversee all site initiatives from land project setup to harvest while making sure maximum return and asset effectiveness.

Supervise daily processes across our rice farm sites.
Formulate seasonal crop strategies, track growth stages, and oversee irrigation plans.
Oversee site employees and casual laborers, making sure high productivity and discipline.
Oversee inputs, tools, and farm logistics in partnership with procurement and processes teams.
Execute industry standards in pest, disease, and weed management in alignment with IPM.
Guarantee promptness planting, fertilization, and harvesting initiatives.
Preserve precise farm records which includes return, input use, and work.
Organize with agronomists, advisors, and external associates.
Uphold ecological and safety guidelines across all processes.

Bachelor's degree or Higher national diploma in Agronomy, Crop Science, or relevant field
At least 3–5 years’ expertise coordinating a business-related farm
Effective guidance and team lead competencies
Practical expertise with maize, rice, soybean, or similar crops
Capability to use farm scheduling systems, spreadsheets, and digital status updates apps
Readiness to operate and reside close to farm sites within Nasarawa and Lafia
