Generation Officer at Ascentech Services Limited in Lagos

Role summary

We are looking for a highly structured and initiative-driven Generation Officer to join our team in Lagos. The preferred candidate will be accountable for managing the daily processes of our generation facility, making sure that all goods are manufactured productively, on time, and in adherence with compliance guidelines. A strong experience in FMCG production operations and prior expertise with quality audits which includes BRC and Organic Accreditation is crucial.

Duties

• Oversee and organize all routine generation initiatives to guarantee goods are manufactured in a prompt and cost-efficient manner.
• Execute and check adherence with Good Production operations Procedures (GMP) and Standard Operating Standardized processes (SOPs).
• Organize for, engage in, and guarantee adherence with BRC (British In-store Consortium) and Organic Audit qualifications.
• Preserve precise generation records, process documentation, and adherence recordkeeping.
• Recognize generation bottlenecks and endorse enhancements to improve effectiveness and product standard.
• Verify that every tools and machinery are preserved and operate safely.
• Work alongside the QA and Servicing & maintenance teams to uphold product guidelines.
• Track stock levels for unedited materials and wrapping to avoid generation disruptions.
• Educate and mentor production worker to follow industry standards in hygiene, safety, and process effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Teaching Certification: Bachelor's degree/Higher national diploma in Food Science, Microbiology, Industrial Chemistry, Engineering, or associated disciplines.
• Expertise: At least 4–5 years of expertise in an FMCG production operations environment.
• Practical experience with external audits which includes BRC and Organic Accreditation is compulsory.
• Deep knowledge of production operations methods, quality assurance, and safety guidelines.
• Clear articulation, logical, and analytical abilities.
• Capability to operate under pressure and oversee various key focuses.
• Good executive guidance and team synchronization competencies.
