Qualifications

  • Education: Bsc in accounting, Finance, Business Management, Engineering, or a relevant field from a reputable tertiary institution. A MSC (e.g., Master of business administration, Master's degree in a applicable field) is highly preferred.
  • At least 18+ years of progressive expertise in internal audit, with a minimum of 8-10 years in a executive team or Head Audit officer position.
  • A member of a professional body:
  • Compulsory: Accredited Audit officer (CIA) and/or a identified accounting specialist certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA).
  • Highly Preferred: CISA (Accredited It auditor), CFE (Accredited Fraud Examiner), CRMA (Accreditation in Risk mitigation strategy Guarantee), or other applicable qualifications that bolster audit competence in an EPCIC/Petroleum sector circumstance.
  • Comprehensive and demonstrable expertise inside the Petroleum sector EPCIC sector is crucial. Comprehension of program duration management (FEED, thorough design, procurement, building, initiating), agreement administration (e.g., FIDIC), and joint initiative accounting in the Petroleum sector industry.
