Position Overview

We are seeking a certified and passionate Library officer to oversee our school library, assist students' analysis and reading needs, and work alongside teachers to combine library assets into the syllabus.

Primary duties

• Oversee the library collection, which includes records, transaction entries, and digital assets.
• Formulate and execute library programs and solutions that assist students' analysis and reading needs.
• Work alongside teachers to combine library assets into the syllabus.
• Offer guidance and direction to students on analysis competencies, information literacy, and critical thinking.
• Preserve a welcoming and welcoming library environment that boosts reading and learning.
• Engage in library-associated career advancement avenues.

Qualifications

• Bsc in Library Science, Education, or a relevant field.
• 2 - 5 years related experience in library management and guidance.
• Solid understanding of library management operational structures, databases, and digital assets.
• Clear articulation and people skills.
• Capability to operate jointly with teachers, students, and parents.

Preferred Credentials

• MSC in Library Science or a relevant field.
• Expertise with international curricula and multifaceted student populations.
• Expertise in library tech and online platforms.
