Logistics Manager at a Licensed Clearing and Forwarding Giant - Pyfinest Resources in Port Harcourt, Rivers

Position Overview

As part of their strategic growth, they are looking for a top-performing Logistics Manager to head processes and customer collaborations from their Port Harcourt base.

Primary duties

• Supervise productive implementation of air/sea freight, haulage, and customs clearance
• Preserve service improvement in line with the organization’s efficient-track dispatch obligations
• Interface competently with key customers and government participants (e.g. Customs, FAAN, NAFDAC)
• Organize internal teams and external associates to supply prompt and cost-efficient logistics
• Track and ensure adherence to adherence with safety and compliance obligations
• Lead workflow optimization programs to improve process effectiveness
• Documentation logistics key indicators directly to top management.

Preferred candidate Profile

• Bsc in Logistics, Stock Chain, Business Administrator, or associated fields
• At least 5 years of related experience in freight transmitting, cargo managing, or petroleum sector logistics
• Robust customer-facing, executive guidance, and verbal abilities
• Sound expertise in customs clearance standardized processes and cargo recordkeeping
• Competence with logistics and tracking software
• Based in Port Harcourt or open to relocation.
