Assistant Head Engineer - Utility at Dangote Group in Apapa, Lagos

Position Overview

The Assistant Head Engineer - Utility is in charge of ensururing the implementation of an productive and efficient Processes, servicing & maintenance and advancement of utility which includes water, electricity and other critical operations necessary to sustain the processes of the Factory.

Primary duties

• Building/Servicing & maintenance of Transmission lines.
• Drawing of layout for installation and wiring of Factory premises.
• System setups, repairs and maintenances of Air conditioners and Refrigerators.
• Supervising and coordinating the process of utility operational structures in the Factory.
• Participated in the designing and conceptualizing of utility structure projects.
• Help the Head Utility Engineer with routine oversight of the section.
• Work alongside service providers and vendors to guarantee efficient execution of projects.
• Making sure adherence with safety guidelines and government rules.
• Diagnosing issues and fixing problems within utility operational structures.
• Directing and development entry-level engineers and technicians.
• Estimating delivery schedules and asset qualifications
• Executing energy-saving measures and maintainable procedures.
• To guarantee that servicing & maintenance and repairs of all Factory Utility structure.
• To guarantee advancement of water stock at Factory and workspaces is accomplished.
• To guarantee servicing & maintenance and repairs of generators which includes checklist is accomplished for peak performance.
• To guarantee repairs and servicing & maintenance of all electrical appliances and fittings at both employees houses, visitor houses and workspaces is accomplished.
•  Supervising and coordinating the process of utility operational structures.
