Profile
- The REACH-OUT Project is an plan attentive on optimizing standard procedure vaccine dispatch to zero-dose (ZD) children in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA).
- The project deals with both stock-side and requirement-side hurdles in immunization, with a concentration on equity, cost-performance, and long-term long-term viability.
- The project is being executed across three SSA countries- Kenya, Nigeria and Rwanda, to formulate and execute tailored plans that improve the reach of immunization programs to at risk populations.
Targets
The Analysis Officer will head and assist initiatives targeted at conceptualizing contextually applicable intervention bundles to enhance vaccine dispatch for Zero-Dose (ZD) children in Nigeria. This comprises top execution analysis, partnering with local participants, coordinating participatory design methods, and conceptualizing online platforms and plans to enhance vaccine dispatch.
Primary duties
- Organize the systematic literature evaluate to recognize successful immunization interventions and assess the possibility for leveraging associated advancements.
- Organize and coordinate workshops with local participants, which includes group delegates, community health governing bodies, and professionals, in Nigeria
- Assist the formation of intervention prototypes, making sure they handle obstacles recognized and are tailored to local situations.
- Head the qualitative data collection process (Key Informant Interviews, Target group Discussions) to guide the design and optimization of intervention bundles.

- Help in the collection of geospatial data, which includes local population distributions, road networks, and commute obstacles.

- Collaborate with the team to guarantee the development of a tracking and supervising system that utilizes GPS devices and applications for monitoring vaccine dispatch.
- Help during planning phase and development of the digital decision-assist operational base, making sure it combines geospatial data and optimization resources to enhance vaccine dispatch.
- Assist the formation of user-friendly resources for micro-organizing, financial planning, and cost-performance evaluation connected with vaccine dispatch initiatives.
- Ensure the operational base is conceptualize as an launch-acquire instrument and explore consolidation avenues with current digital channels used for immunization tracking.
- Supervise the development of sampling frames and interview procedures.
- Arrange and supervise site visits to evaluate ongoing vaccination plans and inform the Participatory Design methodology.
- Ensure information accuracy and proper recordkeeping of interview findings.
- Organize the consolidation of current geospatial data collections and assist the modeling of gridded surfaces for ZD children.
- Help in creating estimates for stock-side and requirement-side factors, and ensure precision in application of geo-statistical models.
- Organize the formation of the Zero-Dose Risk exposure Index (ZDVI) through data aggregation and evaluation.
- Coordinate with local executing associates (national immunization programs, health governing bodies, etc.) to guarantee the participatory design methodology is welcoming and cooperative.
- Make sure that the design and execution of interventions evaluate local situations, which includes health system capacities, group needs, and accessible assets.
- Offer IT assistance to country teams in the co-design and piloting of interventions, making sure that response is combined and used to enhance approaches.
Status updates:
The Analysis Officer will answer to Programme Manager and collaborate with other project teams. He/ She will oversee the Associate researcher.
Credentials
- Bsc in Community health, Immunization, or associated fields (MSC preferred).
- At least 5 years post certification expertise in analysis design and execution ideally around immunization
- Demonstrated expertise in project coordination, ideally in immunization or health operational structures strengthening in Nigeria; expertise with participatory design approaches and participant facilitation.
- Execution analysis expertise using both insight-driven approaches
- Understanding with geospatial data collection, mapping, and decision-assist channels.
- Competence in using applicable software (Geographic information system resources, data visualization channels)
- Clear articulation, interpersonal, and planning abilities.
- Understanding with the COM-B structure and Root Causes Evaluation (RCA) structured approach.
- Expertise with the execution of vaccination marketing or similar health interventions.
- Fluency in English necessary.
