Stock Accounting officer at Brands and Trade Limited in Ajah / Abraham Adesanya, Lagos

Position Overview

• The Stock Accounting officer is in charge of coordinating and adjusting the financial components of stock records.
• This comprises making sure that all stock movements are precisely documented and that inventory balances remain regular between the physical warehouse and the financial platform.
• The officer will collaborate with warehouse, stock chain, sales, and finance teams to guarantee smooth stock flow, precise status updates, and full adherence with organisation regulatory framework.
• The position also includes processing bills, coordinating outstanding bills/receivable, and preserving precise finance records.

Audit & Recordkeeping:

• Organize stock plans and documentation for within and outside the organization audits.
• Assist audit teams with necessary recordkeeping and data.
• Preserve a well-structured archive of stock and finance records.

Key Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree / Higher national diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or a relevant field. Expertise: 0–4 years in stock, accounting, or finance positions (ideally inside FMCG).

Specialized abilities:

• Competence in Excel spreadsheet software (which includes Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
• Expertise with Enterprise platform planning/stock software (e.g., Online QuickBooks, SAP).
• Deep knowledge of accounting principles connected with stock.

• Capability to assign priorities to tasks and deliver on time in a dynamic environment.
