Director, Government Relation - West Africa at Mastercard Foundation in Lagos

Job Description

The Director, Government Relation position will be in charge of all government connections with the authorities, government entities, and associated entities, across sales and/or initiative design, business development, and programme monitoring.
Comprehension of Government methods, robust critical thinking, a plan or Business Development profile, in addition to a basic comprehension of financial tech and payments initiatives is paramount.
Robust strategic communications and public speaking to participate within and outside the organization participants and gain buy-in for implementation is key.
Capability to operate cross operational in a matrix company and proven dispatch proof points possess to be transparently featured.

Head production and management in addition to development of a BD pipeline and account strategies for key accounts
Development of pitch decks and client-focused visual stories, initiatives and value propositions
Ongoing supervising and status updates, in synchronization with market and regional units, across country programs
Routinely, requirement evaluation for current and future Mastercard initiatives to be offered to the Government CoE
Information exchange to Country Managers, Regional Government Relation chief, and in-country teams on programme status, risks & differences, in addition to escalation management.
