Role summary

As a Head Engineer, you will oversee all engineering processes which includes building, plants, heating and cooling system (Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), plumbing, water treatment, boilers operational structures, etc. Oversee efficient effectiveness of Engineering team in line with the department targets and key effectiveness indicators.

Duties What will I be doing?

• As Head Engineer, you are in charge of the efficient management of all engineering and servicing & maintenance processes inside the hotel, which includes energy conservation.
• You are also in charge of the development of the Engineering Team and staying abreast of adherence rules and standardized processes in the site of Engineering, as necessary for hotel guidelines.
• Particularly, a Head Engineer will execute the items listed duty to the highest guidelines:
• Head the Engineering Team in the daily engineering and servicing & maintenance processes of the hotel, which includes service guidelines, tools plans, and work plans.
• Liaise with Room maintenance services to organize and prioritize servicing & maintenance initiatives for Visitor guest accommodations and public zones.
• Formulate operational structures and standardized processes to guarantee the workplace safety and wellness of Guests and Team Members, in addition to the proper terms for plants, machinery, and real estate.
• Liaise with Regulatory bodies to guarantee full adherence with statutory rules.
• Organize Capital and Repairs and Servicing & maintenance financial plans for Engineering.
• Formulate and execute preventive servicing & maintenance strategy.
• Oversee, conceptualizes and sustains an ongoing servicing & maintenance process for hotel, which includes refrigeration, heating, plumbing, water treatment, preventive servicing & maintenance, hotel guest accommodations, air/heating units, ice machines, swimming pools, lighting, kitchen tools, crisis generators, water softeners, switch guest accommodations, roof exhausts, electrical substations, etc.
• Carry out lift crisis release standardized processes as necessary.
• Ensure strong partnerships are built with within and outside the organization clients.
• Servicing & maintenance of all hotel fixtures and fittings to guarantee they are in safe requirement and take action when any unsafe conditions arise.
• Formulate, execute, and direct all crisis programs.
• Formulate, execute and oversee energy conservation programs for the real estate to reduce expenditures.
• Organize renovation offering, establish the cost and scope of the project, and supervise the general vendor and subcontractors to guarantee quality work is carried out cost productively.
• Execute special projects and other duties as allocated.
• Recognize and introduce environmentally-friendly operational structures and tools.
• Track Key Effectiveness Indicators for the Engineering Department and take corrective action, as necessary, to enhance tools stock, quality audit, productivity, and other targets.
• Oversee all Collaborator associated initiatives, which includes hiring process, results tracking, development, profession organizing, disciplinary matters, and team inspiration.
• Preserve the physical appearance and process effectiveness of the hotel which includes physical, mechanical, electrical, plumbing etc.
