Remote marine operations Building Manager at Prime Atlantic Limited in Nigeria

Position Overview

The Remote marine operations Building Manager is accountable for managing and managing all building initiatives on remote marine operations sites which includes oil channels, wind farms, or subsea system setups. This position make sure that processes are carried out safely, productively, and in adherence with project requirements, timelines, and financial plan restrictions.

Method:

• Serve as the Focal Point for GMS vendor staff in-field and coordinate with GMS Management to manage all worried staff and binding concerns for all categories of Vendor staff.
• Help on-site management to oversee staff matters whenever necessary, and as necessary to organize out technical, corporate and ability associated concerns.
• Engage in staff and corporate sessions with Organisation and make strategic guidance to both Organisation and GMS Manager, project on staff movements, replacements and close out turn-over conditions arising in-field.
• Be the link to strengthen the synchronization between Adhoc, 3rd Parties and On-site team, making sure full and robust participation of the Smart guest accommodation Planner in the routine servicing & maintenance subjects, especially regarding Core Crew Assist (routine Updates client engagement and task, WO’s project setup, Organizing / Planning, Status updates, Closing when due, Task pipeline clearing, etc.…) 

Objective

• He is the Vendor focal point for technical synchronization all GMS Vendor initiatives in-field and status updates to the Chief of Servicing & maintenance.
• He helps the Servicing & maintenance Manager to guarantee the company and quality organizing of on-site Servicing & maintenance works and aids, which includes marketing and Vendor/OEM FSR interventions.
• He is the Quality, health, safety, and environment management delegate for Vendor’s initiatives. He warranties that the Health, safety, and environment regulations and operating standardized processes in force in Organisation are respected, in addition to the rules in force in Vendor’s Quality assurance/Quality control handbook.
• He make sure that servicing & maintenance processes under his duty are carried out in rigid accordance with the organization’s ongoing safety regulations and operating standardized processes and in accordance with standard industry practice, thereby ensuring the quality of servicing & maintenance processes, within his site, carried out in-field by the Vendor.
• He warranties a good level of accessibility of the tools he is in charge of on generation sites.
• Ensures the accurate conduct of his teams in accordance with the general safety rules of the subsidiary and, if need be, takes the necessary corrective measures
• Oversee and organize routine building initiatives remote marine operations.
• Guarantee adherence with safety, health, and ecological rules.
• Head multi-proficient crews which includes welding technicians, fitters, riggers, and crane operators.
• Coordinate with PMs, engineers, subcontractors, and customer delegates.
• Carry out and audit Position Safety Evaluation (JSAs) and other safety methods.·       Track development and documentation on project status to top level management.·       Diagnose issues and settle concerns that arise during building. ·       Ensure proper recordkeeping and compliance to quality benchmarks.·       Organize logistics for materials and tools dispatch to the on-site.

Qualifications

At least 10 years of expertise in site of Servicing & maintenance on remote marine operations petroleum sector system setups, with expertise in electrical / instrument / mechanical discipline. Chartered Engineer with Bachelor's degree (A-Levels + 5 years study) or HND qualification or Certification (Higher national diploma / HNC (A-levels + 3 years’ study) or equivalent in in Mechanical, Electrical / Electronic Engineering.
