Position Overview

We are looking for a highly proficient and meticulous Factory Accounting officer to supervise financial processes within our FMCG generation facility. The successful applicant will be in charge of coordinating cost accounting, stock regulate, finance reporting, and making sure adherence with organisation rules and compliance guidelines.

Duties

• Preserve precise factory finance records and guarantee promptness project setup of management documentation.
• Track and regulate generation expenses, evaluate variances, and endorse cost-saving measures.
• Organize every month, every quarter, and yearly balance sheet and income statement for factory processes.
• Supervise stock management, inventory appraisal, and settlement of unedited materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Assist financial planning and predicting methods for factory processes.
• Guarantee adherence with accounting guidelines, internal regulates, and organisation rules.
• Work alongside generation and stock chain teams to enhance financial effectiveness.
• Manage statutory audits and coordinate with external auditors when necessary.
• Execute financial evaluation to assist strategic judgment on pricing, generation, and asset distribution.

Credentials & Qualifications

• Bsc (Bachelor's degree) in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field.
• 3 - 5 years of accounting expertise in the FMCG/production operations sector is compulsory.
• Solid understanding of cost accounting, stock management, and factory processes.
• Competence in financial system (e.g., SAP, Tally, QuickBooks, or similar).
• Deep knowledge of IFRS and Nigerian tax legal provisions.
• Outstanding logical, issue resolution, and planning abilities.
• Clear expression competencies and capability to operate cross-operationally.
• A member of a professional body (ICAN/ACCA) is a plus.
