About the Position

We’re looking for an skilled and driven Leather Goods Generation Head Trainer to design and supply our Shoes and Bags development module with particular concentration on patternmaking. This position blends training, technical proficiency, guidance, and long-term viability executive guidance to motivate and provide with tools the next production of African leather artisans.

Engineering guidance:

• Show use of expert leather-operating resources and industrial machinery for shoes and bags 
• Mentor students in conceptualizing precise technical packs which includes patterns, requirements, and labelling 
• Preserve high guidelines of safety, quality, and craftsmanship throughout the module

Credentials & Competencies

• Higher national diploma/Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Fashion Design, Leather Craft, Product Development, or relevant field 
• Robust project sample demonstrating expertise in leather patternmaking for shoes, bags, or accessories 
• Improved expertise in leather resources, materials, and generation tools 
• Expertise conceptualizing and training technical content in a classroom or workshop setting 
• Clear articulation and presentation competencies 
• Prior expertise as a trainer, lecturer, or workshop facilitator 
• Competence in both documented guide and digital pattern-making software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, CLO, Rhino) 
• Expertise in syllabus promotion or student hiring process
