Procurement Team supervisor at Eko Maintenance Limited in Victoria Island, Lagos

Position Overview

We are seeking a Procurement Team supervisor to supervise and oversee our procurement process, making sure the purchase of goods and solutions while preserving robust vendor connections. The Preferred candidate should be a strategic thinker with outstanding management abilities and strong insight of Stock chain Management, conceptualizing procurement plans, discussing terms agreements and guarantee adherence with organisation rules and industry rules.

Duties

• Team lead: Mentor, oversee, and train the procurement team, nurturing a positive and cooperative environment.
• Planning process: Formulate and execute creative procurement plans in sync with organisation targets and cost-saving targets.
• Supplier Management: Acquire, assess, and select suppliers, bargain agreements to secure favorable terms, and preserve robust, long-term vendor connections.
• Process Management: Supervise the comprehensive procurement process, which includes requisitions, buying, receiving, and billing.
• Expense management: Track financial plans, evaluate procurement expenditures, recognize cost-saving avenues, and track key effectiveness indicators (KPIs).
• Adherence: Verify that every procurement initiatives adhere with organisation rules, applicable regulations, and compliance obligations.
• Partnership: Collaborate with internal departments to comprehend their procurement needs and guarantee promptness dispatch of goods and solutions.
• Efficiency boost: Track supplier and group results, recognize zones for workflow optimization, and execute initiatives to improve effectiveness and productivity.
• Status updates: Organize and show documentation on procurement initiatives, expenditures, and cost savings for executive review.

Qualifications

• Bsc in Stock Chain Management, Business Management, or associated fields
• Qualifications in Stock Chain Management and Buying is a plus.
• 6-7 years of expertise in procurement or stock chain management
• 3+ years of expertise in a executive guidance or managerial position
• Robust bargain and agreement administration competencies
• Clear articulation and interpersonal abilities
• Competence in procurement software and Office productivity software Suites
• Robust logical and analytical abilities
• Capability to oversee various key focuses and deliver on time
• Expertise in Procurement rules and adherence guidelines
• Expertise with supplier connection management.
