Non-Life Underwriting Officer at AIICO Insurance Plc in Lagos

Role summary

• Project setup of quotations for clients/Agents.
• Processing of incoming mails as they come.
• Formulate and preserve solid connections and credibility with the sales force/agents/direct customers.
• Make sure that all underwriting records and files of customers are current every time.
• Ensure issuance of certifications to customers as at inside the SLA.
• Supply regulatory framework documents within 48 hours.
• Organize agreement extension notices 2 months before agreement extension and supply to agents/customers inside the allocated time.
• Make sure that any regulatory framework with a loss ratio above 70% is escalated to higher governing bodies.
• Guarantee adherence with the KYC/CFT qualifications of the organization in respect of both new and agreement extension businesses.
• Make sure that Auto/Fire rules inside the in-store province are sent to survey/assessment team for pre-loss assessment /survey and client engagement until the survey is carried out and risk advancement strategic guidance communicated to the insured.
• Ensure debit notes are issued and a receipt secured in respect of all financial record within 48 hours.
• Recognize all emails and diarize for client engagement within 2 hours.
• Supply endorsements in respect of all regulatory framework alterations and renewals.
• Any other processes as deemed necessary by the team supervisor for the unit.

Qualifications

Interested applicants should have a Bsc with 2-4 years work expertise.
