Chief of Investor Relations at VFD Group Plc in Lagos

Job Description

As Chief of Investor and Connection Management, you will head the firm’s investor relations plan, making sure transparent and prompt correspondence with shareholders, institutional investors, and sell-side analysts.
You’ll organize per quarter income calls, assist yearly sessions, and advocate a “sales-first” culture across the company.
This position is pivotal in pushing strategic relation and nurturing trust among participants.

Formulate and implement investor relations frameworks for the Group and its investee companies.
Prepare investor-facing materials which includes press releases, demonstrations, and yearly documentation.
Ensure frameworks comprise of measurable KPIs and yearly achievements.
Build and sustain connections with institutional investors, analysts, and external participants.
Align communications with strategic objectives and compliance-related requirements.
Head yearly changes of frameworks based on effectiveness findings.
Execute board of directors-authorized J10 regulatory framework inside the first year.
Head market intelligence and economic evaluation programs to guide strategic decisions.
Advance and embed a “sales-first” mentality cross-departmentally.
Design capacity-building plans and track adoption indicators.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or relevant field
Postgraduate degree or a member of a professional body preferred
8–12+ years of expertise in investor relations, financial evaluation, or capital markets
Strong insight of financial markets, instruments, and data analysis
Exceptional documented and verbal competencies for investor-facing materials
Verified ability to build trust with participants and internal teams
Robust modeling and market evaluation capabilities
Meticulous with outstanding planning abilities
Current with market trends and rival activity.
