Role summary

The Accounting officer will be in charge of coordinating the organization’s finance records, making sure precision in financial recordkeeping, getting ready documentation, and assisting adherence with statutory rules. The position includes preserving transparency in financial processes and offering findings for sound strategic judgment.

Primary duties

• Preserve precise finance records and general ledger entries.
• Organize every month, every quarter, and yearly balance sheet and income statement.
• Resolve financial statements and outstanding bills/receivable.
• Manage wage processing processing and statutory conclusions.
• Assist financial planning, predicting, and budgeting initiatives.
• Guarantee adherence with tax legal provisions and compliance obligations.
• Offer financial evaluation and documentation for executive review for strategic judgment.

Credentials

• Bsc in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field.
• A member of a professional body (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent) is a plus.
• Demonstrated expertise as an accounting officer or similar position.
• Solid understanding of financial system and MS Excel.
