Responsibility

• This role requires preserving a high standard of diagnostic competence, monitoring prompt repairs, and documenting spare parts usage carefully.
• The position also includes evaluating technicians' work to guarantee adherence with client and vehicle manufacturer requirements.
• Additionally, it entails changing updates into work orders on Enterprise platform planning operational structures and requisitioning necessary parts from the store for truck and trailer repairs in the workshop.

Key Effectiveness Zones

• Oversee, strategy and organize fleet maintenance and servicing initiatives, which includes coordinating and assigning project assets to guarantee accepted time, cost, quality, safety, and ecological targets are fulfilled.
• Regulate the Workshop Management System by planning and recording the distribution of roles, supervising prompt, cost-efficient repairs and workshop earnings and spending to coordinate precise Fleet servicing & maintenance records.
• Offer guidance, direction, and consistent response on workshop effectiveness to motivate a team of mechanical tradespersons and apprentices in the dispatch of mechanical solutions.
• Carry out on the position tutorials and help with solving sophisticated mechanical and hydraulic challenges to offer mechanical development and guidance to workshop staff, which includes apprentices.
• Coordinate the productive dispatch of mechanical solutions through information exchange, communication link, bargain, and synchronization with within and outside the organization customers to oversee customer relations.
• Offer strategic guidance on assets, productivity, work methods and connected expenses in conjunction with the workshop employees to guarantee the project setup of attractive estimates for key mechanical repairs / projects.
• Carry out the repetitive supervising and directing of workshop expenditures and monthly earnings and spending statements and offer the Workshop Zone Manager with response to guarantee workshop financial plan projections are accomplished
• Follow ongoing rules and standardized processes and authorise buy cards to guarantee the procurement of spare parts and other solutions are carried out.

Credentials Necessary

Bsc or Higher national diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Tech, or any other relevant field. Mechanical Engineering Accreditation, PMP or any other.
