Position Overview

The Financial Audit officer will be in charge of carrying out consistent financialaudits across outlets and the chief workspace to guarantee precision, adherence, and responsibility. This position is critical in safeguarding organisation assets, making sure transparent finance reporting, and supporting effectiveness in the QSR/In-store business environment.

Primary duties

• Financial Audits: Carry out periodic audits of sales records, cash managing, bank adjustments, stock, and expenditure financial record across outlets.
• Adherence Supervising: Guarantee adherence with financial rules, internal regulates, and compliance obligations.
• Income Guarantee: Confirm routine POS sales documentation against cash deposits, financial statements, and financial records.
• Stock & Expense management: Audit inventory records, usage documentation, wastage, and supplier bills to identify variances or fraud.
• Outlet Assessments: Carry out spot checks at outlets to evaluate financial and business procedures.
• Risk Evaluation: Recognize financial risks, leakages, or fraud indicators and endorse corrective measures.
• Internal Regulates: Assess and strengthen internal regulate operational structures for cash, procurement, and cost control.
• Status updates: Organize clear audit documentation highlighting findings, risks, and strategic guidance for management.
• Partnership: Collaborate with finance, processes, and stock chain teams to execute audit strategic guidance.
• Ongoing development: Suggest process upgrades to enhance effectiveness, cost savings, and financial transparency.

Key Qualifications

• Bsc in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field.
• A member of a professional body (ICAN, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred.
• 5–7years’ expertise in audit or financial controller, ideally in QSR, in-store, FMCG, or hospitality.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, auditing guidelines, and legal adherence.
• Understanding with POS operational structures, Enterprise platform planning, or in-store management software.
• Outstanding logical, investigation, and analytical abilities.
• High level of honesty and reliability and meticulousness.
• Clear expression and documentation-skilled in writing.
• Readiness to commute across outlets for audit tasks.
