Internal Regulate Officer at Ikeja Electric Distribution Company (IKEDC) in Ikeja, Lagos

Position Objective

Will be in charge of carrying out daily internal regulate supervising and process enforcement initiatives in the allocated zones of the organization.

Position Accountabilities

• Execute the qualifications of the internal regulate structure, charter, and documented guide concerning the allocated coverage zones.
• Adhere fully with the internal regulate documented guide and process qualifications.
• Support to the development and consistent updating of the internal regulate documented guide.
• Support to the development of the internal regulate supervising and enforcement methods and standardized processes that mentor the process of the internal management system.
• Routinely verify adherence with rules, methods, standardized processes and other regulates in the zone of coverage and offer exception documentation routinely.
• Check in to guarantee that the observed or escalated exceptions are regularized within rational timeframe.
• Make sure that intentional noncompliance with key rules, methods, standardized processes or other regulates is escalated in suitable document structure for disciplinary action.
• Through standard procedure assessments, recognize process, regulatory framework and procedural differences in the zones of overage and make suitable strategic guidance to strengthen the system.
• Carry out special assessments directed under leadership inside the stipulated timeline.
• Offer consistent and suitable documentation for executive review on the regulate supervising initiatives in the coverage zone.
• Carry out allocated ad hoc inquiries into incidents, service issues, and procedural breaches and offer premium quality documentation inside the stipulated timeframe.
• Adhere with Standards oversight System/Business Health & System qualifications which includes targets and relevant rules concerning allocated roles.
• Execute as-needed duty and any other obligations allocated by the Chief of Internal Regulate or the Management.

At least Qualifications

• A First academic qualification or equivalent in science or community-related science site.
• Advancement in the specialist qualifications like ACA, ACCA, CIA, etc., will be a clear advantage.
• Post certification work expertise in internal regulate or associated operation in applicable sectors of 2 years.
