Nigeria Stock Chain Management Expert at One Acre Fund in Minna, Niger

About the Position

• The Nigeria Stock Chain team brings premium quality, life-evolving inputs to our farmers at top-performing cost possible.
• The macro-economic circumstance and farmers reality is more agile than ever before.
• This requires our OAF stock chain to be more nimble with continuously adapting methods, submitting application stock chain management and standardized best practices to the unique circumstance of final mile farmer supplies in rural zones.
• We are looking for a Supply chain officer to oversee the methods and the team that assist supplies for all our programs (Core, Rural Retails and Trees) and different other projects which includes market entry/buyback.
• You will oversee 3-5 people
• Responsible to directly to Operational structures Head

Warehouse Processes:

• You will ensure smooth warehouse processes by offering necessary assets and manpower planning
• You will ensure organizing and orientation of WH casuals
• You will carry out consistent internal warehouse audits/checks.
• You will ensure 5S standard adherence of >90%.
• You will ensure programme-adequate and cost-productive warehouse space and positioning across the country

Stock Management:

• Ensure on a weekly basis and every month stock counts in all warehouses.
• Ensure precise status updates of every month stock adjustments
• Oversee every month adjustments and financial difference assessment.
• Follow the worldwide loss procedure and escalation matrix in case of any suspected theft, fraud, unexpected disappearance of inputs, or tampering with inputs.
• Ensure productive space use in warehouses and Quality control process is followed.

Dispatch Management:

• Oversee supplies across for all country programme: Core, In-store and Trees - in close partnership with the Site Processes Department. This comprises:
• Ensure dispatch KPIs, especially the max 0.1% shrink target, are fulfilled.
• Formulate and execute allocation plans in a cost-productive way
• Coordinate with logistics vendors, team members, departments and other OAF employees to guarantee precise dispatch of inputs.
• Bargain affordable rates and prepare terms of service with the transport vendors
• Ensure precise data governance before, during and after supplies
• Coordinate with the Product Advancements team to sample inputs for running test
• Carry out consistent postmortems of logistics projects and supplies and derive necessary advancement actions

Requirement Predicting:

Formulate and select suitable predicting models based on the nature of our data and the business circumstance Execute and run selected model to enhance stock, assign assets and improve entire business organizing.
