About the Position

We are looking for a meticulous and initiative-driven Accounting officer to join our team in a dynamic FMCG modern trade environment. The preferred candidate must possess reliable accounting expertise and be skilled in using QuickBooks (online) for routine financial processes.

Primary duties

• Oversee daily accounting processes which includes outstanding invoices, payables, and adjustments.
• Preserve precise finance records and guarantee adherence with organisation rules.
• Organize and evaluate financial statements for management evaluate.
• Track sales, collections, and stock financial record in line with FMCG processes.
• Assist financial planning, predicting, and budgeting methods.
• Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and tax governing bodies when necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree / Higher national diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.
• 1 - 5 years demonstrated expertise as an Accounting officer, ideally in an FMCG/modern trade environment.
• Solid understanding of QuickBooks Online and MS Excel.
• Good expertise in financial compliance guidelines.
• Outstanding logical, issue resolution, and planning abilities.
• High meticulousness and precision.
• Capability to operate independently and in a collaborative environment.
• Exposure to a agile FMCG modern trade business.
