IT Base manager at the Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine (HJF) in Abuja, Nigeria

Role summary

HJFMRI Nigeria is looking for an Information technology manager to supervise IT processes, making sure the productive management of IT assets, on-time settlement of service desk concerns, execution of cyber security procedures, and alignment of IT solutions with strategic objectives. The position also includes partnership with participants to assist the company's purpose through efficient IT plans.

Duties

• Organize Routine IT Processes: Ensure the smooth running of IT support, settle service desk concerns, and supervise the dispatch of IT solutions across the company.
• Oversee IT Assets: Track and preserve IT software & hardware stock, ensure accessibility of critical assets, and manage procurement/disposal in line with rules.
• Execute and Track Information security Measures: Manage and ensure adherence to Information security rules, execute system audits, and guarantee adherence with worldwide and local guard guidelines.
• Assist Structure and Cloud Solutions: Oversee on-premises and cloud-based operational structures to guarantee effectiveness, scalability, and accessibility.
• Work alongside Participants: Coordinate with within and outside the organization teams to recognize IT needs, propose initiatives, and execute projects that assist business targets.
• Support actively toward yearly financial planning: Engage in IT financial plan predicting, track expenditures, and align assets to guarantee cost effectiveness.
• May execute other obligations and duties as allocated or directed by the manager. This may comprise of presence of and involvement in necessary development for position.

Supervisory Duties:

Allocated Head: May endorse the items listed: employee recruiting, disciplinary action, and launching salaries; offer input on staff productivity reviews.

Education and Expertise

Bsc necessary, Master’s preferred (Computer Science) At least 6-8 years of expertise necessary
