French Speaking Accounting officer at Ascentech Services Limited in Ikeja, Lagos  (Willing to relocate to other French speaking African countries)

Role Overview

Our customer is looking for a proficient and agile French-speaking Accounting officer to join their team. The preferred candidate will play a main responsibility in coordinating and monitoring accounting processes, making sure financial honesty and reliability, and preserving adherence with accounting guidelines.

Primary duties

• Execute accounting obligations which includes financial recordkeeping, financial planning, and finance reporting.
• Guarantee adherence with local and international accounting guidelines (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
• Collaborate with top level management to evaluate financial risks and recognize avenues for advancement.
• Convey productively with French-speaking participants and customers, making sure smooth synchronization and visual precision in financial matters.
• Help in the project setup and evaluate of balance sheet and income statement, audits, and tax filings.
• Work alongside cross-operational teams spanning different regions to offer monetary aid and findings.
• Oversee the financial planning process and supervise financial regulates inside the company.
• Guarantee promptness and precise status updates of financial data in line with organisation rules and compliance obligations.

Key Credentials

• Demonstrated expertise in accounting, finance, or a relevant field (5+ years preferred).
• Fluent in French (both spoken and documented) with the capability to participate productively with French-speaking customers and participants.
• Deep knowledge of international accounting guidelines and procedures.
• Expertise in coordinating accounting operational structures, balance sheet and income statement, and status updates.
• Exceptional meticulousness and robust critical thinking.
• Readiness to commute/relocate to other African countries as necessary by the business.
• Capability to speak French is essential.
