Overview

We're looking for an skilled Chief auditor to join our agile team in the Efficient-Moving Buyer Goods (FMCG) sector. As a seasoned audit specialist, you'll head our internal audit operation, making sure the highest guidelines of risk mitigation strategy, compliance, and adherence.

Primary duties

• Formulate and execute a complete audit plan, in sync with business targets
• Head and oversee a team of audit experts, offering direction, mentoring, and development avenues
• Carry out risk-based audits, recognizing zones for advancement and offering strategic guidance for remediation
• Work alongside top level management and participants to guarantee audit findings are handled and executed
• Stay current with market trends, compliance obligations, and industry standards in internal auditing.

Qualifications

• Interested applicants should have an Higher national diploma / Bachelor's / MSC
• A member of a professional body in auditing (e.g., CIA, CISA, ACCA)
• At least 8 years of expertise in internal auditing, with a minimum of 3 years in a executive function
• Solid understanding of auditing guidelines, rules, and frameworks (e.g., IIA, COSO)
• Outstanding executive guidance, information exchange, and people skills
• Capability to operate in a dynamic environment, urgency sorting various duty and due dates.
