Project / Design Engineer at Royal Power and Energy Limited in Lagos

Duties

• In charge of the audit, design, installation and finalize implementation of a solar power initiatives.
• Serve as a nerve centre and co-ordinates with various teams – both within and outside the organization for smooth project implementation.
• Formulate standard process standardized processes and quality or safety guidelines for solar installation work.
• Evaluate precisely the energy usage profile and energy cost profile of clients. Competent of optimally sizing solar power initiatives.
• Manage various projects at the same time at various stages of development and building - projects could be located locally and regionally.
• Design solar operational structures based on client qualifications; mini grid and roof top solar etc. Discuss with clients and engineers to evaluate tools needs and to decide system qualifications.
• In charge of transforming the good solar, electrical and civil design on paper – into the actual site.
• Co-ordinate with various teams inside the organisation internally and externally for smooth project implementation.
• Drawing/Paperwork delivery/authorizations, planning, inspections, organize generalized check list for evaluate of all standard.
• End to end implementation ofsolarprojects(Rooftop & Ground Mounted) and AMC/Service Assist.
• Use portable energy audit instruments which includes power analysers, data loggers
• Check on-site practicality and offer the best appropriate option for optimizing appropriateness.
• Assess structured and space evaluations for thesolarpanels other various helped Electrical tools & selection of cables for plant which includes layouts & schematic diagrams and calculation of technical sizing, BOQ/BOM.
• To offer with current on a weekly basis/fortnightly status documentation and dashboard
• Offer technical direction or assist to installation teams during installation, begin-up, running test, system initiating, or effectiveness supervising.
• Diagnosing issues concerns concerning system setups

Qualifications

Interested applicants should have an Higher national diploma / Bachelor's degree / B.Technology Academic qualification with 4-7 years work expertise.
