Position Overview

We are recruiting a Factory foreman who will be accountable for managing routine generation of furnitures inside the facility. The position make sure that generation targets are fulfilled productively, safely, and with premium quality guidelines and make sure that finished goods meet organisation requirements and client demands.

Role summary / Primary duties

• Strategize arrange, and oversee routine factory processes to meet generation plans.
• Track process to guarantee effectiveness and minimal non-operational time.
• Assign duty to workers based on competencies and generation qualifications.
• Verify that every furniture generated meets the organization’s quality benchmarks.
• Carry out consistent inspections of unedited materials, work-in-advancement, and finished goods.
• Execute corrective actions to handle faults or process inefficiencies.
• Head, educate, and motivate factory labourers, machine operators, and assistants.
• Track employee output and offer input for advancement.
• Settle clashes, preserve discipline, and ensure adherence to organisation rules.
• Ensure adherence to workplace safety and wellness rules inside the factory.
• Ensure workers use protective tools and adhere to safety protocols.
• Documentation and handle safety risks promptly.
• Supervise usage of unedited materials, resources, and machinery.
• Organize with the warehouse team to guarantee accessibility of necessary materials.
• Reduce waste and enhance asset utilization.
• Preserve precise generation records, routine documentation, and effectiveness data records.
• Offer management with status reports on productivity, hurdles, and advancement suggestions.
• Help in executing new methods and technical solutions to boost effectiveness.

Credentials & Competencies

• At least OND/Higher national diploma/Bsc in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Tech, Wood Tech, or relevant field.
• Demonstrated expertise (5 - 10 years) as a Manager or similar position in a furniture or production operations organisation.
• Solid understanding of furniture manufacturing workflows, materials, and machinery.
• Outstanding executive guidance, information exchange, and planning abilities.
• Capability to solve challenges, make quick decisions, and oversee a team productively.
• Comprehension of safety guidelines and adherence rules.
