Factory worker / Labourer at RA Trading and Investment in Ketu Ikosi, Lagos

Position Overview

We are seeking Factory Assistants to delivers crucial assist and ensure the generation process runs smoothly. Position comprises material managing, helping machine operators, helping in assembling furniture parts, preserving cleanliness of organisation environment and the work zone, and executing inspection procedures.

Duties

• Help in the assembly and generation of furniture pieces according to requirements.
• Operate or help with machinery with guidance, which includes saws, drills, and sanders.
• Move and arrange unedited materials, semi-finished goods, and finished goods in the generation zone.
• Follow health, safety, and quality benchmarks and adhere with organisation rules.
• Preserve a clean, safe, and structured work zone.
• Pack and organize goods for shipping, making sure accurate labeling and wrapping.
• Documentation any tools malfunctions or safety risks to the manager.

Qualifications

• Technical school certification / vocational development woodworking or production operations will be an added advantage
• At least a year expertise in a factory or production operations environment, ideally in furniture or woodworking, is a plus
• Physical stamina to execute repetitive duty and lift materials up to a specified weight limit.
• Robust meticulousness and dedication to quality.
