This is a full-time in-field Warehouse Officer position located in Awka, Anambra state. As a WarehouseOfficer, you will be in charge of recording stocks, arranging stock to guarantee the smooth and productive process of the stock chain within an Aluminium Extrusion Factory,

Primary duties

• Arrange and store items systematically in appointed sites.
• Enhance warehouse space through strategic product structured.
• Transparently label shelves, bins, and goods for easy recognition and retrieval.
• Preserve a clean, safe, and well-structured warehouse environment.
• Execute and ensure adherence to inventory rotation methods, which includes FIFO (First In, First Out).
• Supervise the careful loading of goods onto dispatch vehicles to prevent loss.
• Convey productively with the warehouse manager and team to guarantee smooth processes.
• Follow all safety procedures when managing profiles and heavy materials.
• Work alongside various departments to coordinate the smooth movement of goods.
• Preserve precise stock records for all outgoing goods.
• Verify that every shipping and receiving recordkeeping is properly finished and filed.
• Carry out and engage in every month inventory counts.
• Help with periodic stock audits to confirm inventory precision and settle discrepancies.
• Adhere and verify that every other warehouse employees adhere with all warehouse rules, standardized processes, and safety rules.
• Recognize business concerns, take corrective action, or report to higher support tier to the warehouse manager.
• Execute additional duty as allocated by top level management.
