Job Description

Position Objective

The Child Protection Case Worker is in charge of offering direct assist and case management solutions to at risk children and their families. This position includes evaluating child protection needs, conceptualizing and executing case strategies, presenting psychosocial assist, promoting for children's rights, and managing possessing applicable agencies to guarantee the safety and well-being of children.

Duties

  • Carry out complete evaluations of children and families to recognize protection needs and risks.
  • Formulate individualized case strategies targeted at safeguarding children and assisting family reunification or alternative care structured.

Qualifications

  • At least Certification or Bsc in Community-related Work, Psychology, Sociology, and other community-related science relevant field.
  • Proven 2 years’ expertise operating with at risk children and families, ideally in a humanitarian or northwest group setting.
  • Deep knowledge of child protection principles, child rights, and safeguarding rules.
  • Robust expertise in Child protection case management solutions
  • Clear articulation, interpersonal, and support competencies.
  • Capability to operate independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Fluency in English and local language (Hausa) will be a plus.
  • Competence in recordkeeping and case management software.
  • Competence in MS Workspace Suite, CPIMS and data governance.
