Feature lead - Merchant Orientation at Fairmoney Microfinance Bank in Lagos

About the Position

• The Feature lead for Merchant Orientation will own the comprehensive expertise of how merchants discover, register, confirm, and begin using Fairmoney's financial goods.
• You will be in charge of crafting intuitive orientation flows, making sure legal adherence, and pushing adoption by making it easy for merchants to go live.
• This position needs robust issue resolution, implementation discipline, and in-depth empathy for small and medium businesses in Nigeria's efficient-continuously adapting financial technology landscape.

Orientation Expertise:

Design smooth, intuitive orientation flows (KYC, paperwork review, activation) Build merchant journeys that balance speed with adherence and trust

Analytics-based Optimisation:

Establish KPIs which includes orientation finalization rate, time-to-activation, and merchant churn Use data analysis and client findings to constantly enhance funnel transformation

Merchant Relation & Response:

Carry out interviews and analysis to comprehend merchant needs and pain points Leverage response to enhance orientation flows and enhance merchant fulfillment

Market Consciousness:

Stay informed on financial technology and merchant orientation practices across Africa and internationally Benchmark against best-in-class initiatives to guarantee Fairmoney remains attractive

Qualifications

• Bsc in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or relevant field; Master's preferred
• Demonstrated expertise as a Feature lead, preferably in financial technology, payments, or digital orientation
• Solid understanding of KYC/AML methods, merchant risk, and compliance-related frameworks
• In-depth understanding with the Nigerian and broader African financial technology landscapes; expertise in local banking rules and client actions is highly advantageous
• Critical thinking with expertise using resources like SQL, Excel, or BI dashboards
• Clear articulation and stakeholder engagement competencies
• Entrepreneurial, meticulous, and client-obsessed mentality
