Evaluator - QA Projects at MTN Nigeria in Lagos

Purpose

To organize, oversee and be responsible for the execution of IT compliance systems in the implementation of audit, risk, adherence (ARC); process quality, project quality and other internal regulates structure.

Duties

• Assist Standards oversight System (QMS) execution initiatives inside the IT division.
• Organize, oversee and be responsible for the execution, supervising and evaluate of IT Oversight structure and Quality strategies in line with IT strategic concentration, targets, and key focuses.
• Coordinate with IT process owners to guarantee that compliance methods are executed and was aligned with inside the IT division.
• Formulate, execute, and oversee IT projects to guarantee that goods meet necessary requirements for quality, operation, and reliability prior to dispatch.
• Recognize and set suitable quality benchmarks and parameters for goods and software development.
• Convey quality benchmarks and parameters to Quality assurance team, product development team, and other suitable employees.
• Coordinate with Quality assurance staff to guarantee that QA methods are executed and was aligned with inside the IT division.
• Organize and assess Quality assurance documentation and make strategic guidance for industry standard and coordinate the recognition of initiatives.
• Modify Quality assurance evaluate work programs/checklists promptly, often and accordingly for the various methods and initiatives inside the IT operation.
• Organize and evaluate IT regulatory framework, process and standardized process; recognizing process dysfunctions and endorse necessary status reports with the goal of optimizing performance and entire process effectiveness. 
• Preserve mechanism and system to guarantee prompt, regular and suitable modify of Quality assurance evaluate work inside the IT operation and head QA team in supplying dependable solutions.
• Engage in process, project and internal audit initiatives launched by internal or external auditors to assure quality of IT initiatives according to defined guidelines and indicators.

Qualifications Education:

• First academic qualification or Higher national diploma in Electrical/Electronics, Computer Engineering or IT associated discipline
• A member of a professional body in any of the items listed or integration (is a plus): ITIL, PMP, SCRUM, Nimble,  TOGAF, COBIT, Six SIGMA. 
• Fluent in English

Expertise:

• 3 - 7 years of expertise which comprises:
• At least 5 years progressive expertise within a large company in any of the items listed industries: Banking, FMCG, Telecoms or Tech Advising with high level expertise in the execution of IT compliance in the implementation of audit, risk, adherence (ARC); process quality, project quality and other internal regulates structure
• Prior expertise in coordinating product development/Operational structures engineering and IT processes
• Expertise in establishing and preserving quality assurance structure for software development covering Nimble SDLC and Hybrid Projects (Waterfall/V-model SDLC + Nimble SDLC (Scrum, Scrumban, Kanban, Scaled Nimble etc.)
• Expertise in Software Development and Running test covering Nimble SDLC and Hybrid Projects (Waterfall/V-model SDLC + Nimble SDLC (Scrum, Scrumban, Kanban, Scaled Nimble etc.)
• Expertise in business and technical risk evaluation, regulates design and running test across multiple Information Solutions operational structures and methods
