Role summary

To oversee Strivo’s finance operation comprehensive, which includes accounting, budgeting, status updates, and adherence, while offering strategic findings to assist business expansion and investor preparedness.

Primary duties

• Supervise daily finance processes, which includes accounting, settlement, and money movement management.
• Head budgeting, financial planning, and predicting methods.
• Execute and track internal financial regulates, rules, and standardized processes.
• Organize precise and prompt financial statements for executive guidance and participants.
• Oversee outstanding bills, outstanding receivables, and wage processing.
• Guarantee adherence with tax rules, NDPR, IFRS, and other statutory qualifications.
• Collaborate with business and product directs to assess financial effectiveness of projects and new programs.
• Assist capital raising and investor relations with financial projections and due diligence documents.
• Track unit economics and margins for e-commerce and financial service offerings.
• Recognize financial risks and propose risk reduction plans.
• Head, train, and grow the finance team.

Credentials

• Bsc in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or relevant field.
• Specialist qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CFA, CPA) firmly preferred.
• 5–8 years’ progressive expertise in finance/accounting positions.
• A minimum of 3-5 years in a Finance Head/Finance Manager position.
• Expertise operating in high-growth e-commerce, payments, or financial solutions companies.

Key Competencies & Skills:

• Robust technical accounting expertise (IFRS, GAAP).
• Expertise in e-commerce, payments, financial technology, or marketplace environments.
• Verified ability to set up and head a finance operation in a scaling organisation.
• Robust financial forecasting and predicting competencies.
• Understanding with adherence frameworks (ISO 27001/22301 financial regulates a plus).
• Outstanding logical, issue resolution, and strategic judgment competencies.
