Job Description
Position summary
In charge of Warehouse management within Air Peace Engineering and Maintenace Department to assist Air Peace fleets qualifications for aircrafts spares, while making sure adherence with Air Peace and Compliance obligations. Delivers service to user departments in APL through system wide Warehouse management system, parts and solutions requirement for all Aircraft and Engines. Manages all higher-level necessary correspondence with procurement, MRP, servicing & maintenance, and logistics. Ensures the clearance of all challenges in co-ordination with Stock, Logistics, MRP, Servicing & maintenance, CAMO, Generation, Assessment, and Workshop. Strategies, manages, and regulates the initiatives allocated to his/her unit. Manages and regulates the staff of his/her unit and appraises their effectiveness periodically. Conceptualizes new rules and standardized processes overseeing his/her unit and discusses same with the Chief of Stock chain before execution. Co-ordinates with Supply chain and purchasing and material organizing regarding parts requirement. Supervises initiatives and sustains APL and compliance-related body requirement guidelines.
Primary duties
- Oversee and ensure smooth running of Technical Stores and Logistics on 24-hour 7-day basis and ensure uninterrupted material assist to processes.
- Implement perpetual and yearly physical inventory taking and settlement to acquire and meet financial and Audit qualifications.
- Track and execute quality assurance methods in each zone of Technical Stores and formulate culture of discipline and full adherence with standardized processes.
- Liaise with within and outside the organization clients on the accessibility of materials, constraint, and dispatch setbacks.
- Guarantee adherence with Air peace and Compliance obligations.
- Full duty for the information accuracy of inventory levels in AD Software and the head in data clean-up-associated projects.
- Preserve productive and efficient warehouse layout, space, and asset utilization.
- Formulate and execute standardized processes and methods always connected with safe custody and secure movement of all spare parts.
- Settle Stores business concerns concerning management, employees, escalations, and deviations.
- Recognize and explore any lost material. Decide the root cause and execute preventative measures.
- Evaluate the audit and assessment documentation, implement short term corrective action, and offer strategic guidance for long term corrective action.
- Establish robust and cooperative connections with Servicing & maintenance, CAMO, Procurement, and other operational units.
- Follow the organization safety, health, and ecological regulatory framework.
- Offer direction, motivate, and formulate teams to attain upgraded effectiveness.
- Undertaking such other obligations as may be reasonably requested by the Chief of Stock Chain.
- Design and track key effectiveness indicators (KPIs) to track Stores effectiveness and recognize zones for advancement, making sure on-time completion and client fulfillment.
Role expectations
- Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree, Higher national diploma or its equivalent from any higher institution
- Applicant must possess 10 years work expertise in a Technical Stores environment, ideally aviation industry.
- At least 4 years at a Executive Level
- Must be an midlevel user of Microsoft bundles; word, excel, power point.
- Must possess an expertise in using an MRP system, capability to use ADS is a plus.
Competencies:
- Expertise in Adjustment Management and Workflow optimization is crucial.
- Executive guidance ability/Strategic thinking
- Comprehension Human Factors inside the servicing & maintenance environment is preferred.
- Demonstrable ability of efficient results tracking
