Job Description
Duties
- Proven expertise in procurement methods, which includes and Contra for lifting buy orders
- To keep a routine document of materials received and disbursed.
- Assemble documentation on various components of modifications in stock
- Keep records of itemsreceived, or transferred to another site
- Collaborate with the store officersto maintaingeneral regulate over all initiatives inside the store
- To guarantee safe keeping, both as to the quality and quantity of materials.
- To start buy requisitions for the replacement of inventory of all consistent store items whenever the inventory level of any item of store approaches the at least limit fixed in respect thereof..
- To reserve a particular material for a specific position when so necessary.
- To problem materials only in necessary quantities against authorised requisition notes/material lists.
- To check the schedule balances, with the actual physical inventory at regular intervals
- To guarantee allmaterial are in good statewithin the project on-site after the close of business on the on-site.
- Participate to the buying of materials when questioned to do so or as ordered.
- Perform any other applicable obligations as directed by any the direct supervisor.
Role expectations
- Bsc in Building / Engineering or Industrial discipline or any relevant field
- 3 - 4 years of operating expertise as a Buying Officer
- Good expertise in vendor procurement procedures (conducting analysis, analyzing and coordinating with with vendors)
- Good logical and critical thinking competencies
- Show a assured and mature approach to business dealings
- Outstanding at discussing terms, relationship building and trading with numbers in addition to trading with other factors which includes long-term viability, risk mitigation strategy and ethical concerns.
