Head Finance officer at J3 Foods and Store International in Iyana Ipaja, Lagos

Duties

• Verify that every financial financial record and records are precisely preserved for J3 Foods and Stores International.
• Guarantee promptness and precise project setup of balance sheet and income statement (every month, every quarter, yearly) for all outlets.
• Ensure precise settlement of stock financial record (buys, movements, compose-offs) in alignment with accounting guidelines.
• Work alongside the warehouse department to confirm inventory documentation and reduce discrepancies between physical and schedule stock.
• Evaluate and authorize financial statement adjustments (bank, stock, outstanding invoices, payables).
• Oversee and train Accounting officers across all allocation outlets.
• Carry out every month effectiveness assessments and guarantee alignment to accounting standardized processes.
• Execute standardized accounting methods across all sites.
• Settle sophisticated accounting concerns escalated by Accounting officers.
• Authorize payment vouchers, small expense fund, and bank adjustments.
• Ensure wage processing is processed correctly and on time, which includes precise conclusions and remittances.
• Oversee and track payment operational structures to confirm accounts receivable.
• Supervise cost accounting and ensure proper distribution of expenditures.
• Execute cost-saving measures without compromising process effectiveness.
• Track trade campaigns, discounts, and rebate accounting.
• Confirm sales documentation and ensure income acknowledgment aligns with accounting guidelines.
• Guarantee promptness submitting of VAT, corporate taxes, and other statutory obligations.
• Stay informed on modifications in tax legal provisions affecting FMCG allocation.
• Execute internal regulates to prevent fraud and errors.
• Educate Accounting officers on new accounting methods and rules.
• Organize financial statements to MD/CEO and Chief operator.
• Advise the management on financial opportunities and ways to enhance profit margin.
