Logistics coordinator at Dangote Industries Limited in Mtwara Plant, Tanzania

Position Objective

To organize, oversee, and ensure safe, productive, and prompt loading and offloading of cargo at the railway station, in adherence with organisation rules, safety guidelines, and binding obligations.

Adherence & Safety:

• Ensure adherence to compliance to safety guidelines during loading/offloading processes.
• Documentation and report to higher support tier any incidents, compensation, or discrepancies for executive review.
• Guarantee adherence with organisation, railway, and compliance obligations.

Process effectiveness:

Track turnaround times for instructs and trucks, making sure minimal setbacks. Suggest enhancements to loading/offloading methods to improve output.

Credentials & Expertise

• Academic qualification in Logistics, Stock Chain Management, Transport, or relevant field.
• At least 2–3 years of expertise in cargo managing or logistics processes, ideally in a rail environment.
• Expertise in railway processes and safety guidelines.
• Competence in MS Workspace and Excel.
