Collections officer at CashXpress Nigeria Limited in Lagos

Position Overview

We are seeking skilled Collection Specialists who will be in charge of coordinating due, overdue accounts and check in with payments from persons who possess was unsuccessful to repay their loans or obligations on time while preserving competence.

Duties

• Reach out customers through phone calls, emails, text messages to discuss due/overdue payments and bargain repayment strategies.
• Evaluate loan agreements, payment records, and other applicable documents to comprehend the status of each account and decide the suitable collection plans.
• Bargain payment structured, settlements, or reorganization strategies with borrowers to settle outstanding balances and coordinate repayment.
• Preserve precise records of communications, payment agreements, and debt statuses in databases or software operational structures.
• Offer support and direction to customers, responding questions, dealing with matters, and presenting options to assist them meet their liabilities.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Debt Collections, Client support, or Financial solutions is highly endorsed.
• A Bsc in Finance, Business Management, or any relevant field is essential.
• Must possess served (NYSC)

Other Qualifications:

Robust verbal and professional writing competencies are crucial for productively sharing information with clients, teammates, and supervisors. Capability to bargain payment terms and settlements, and have good persuasion competencies. Meticulous and structured and to oversee various accounts, recordkeeping, and due dates. Competence in using computers, which includes spreadsheet software and client engagement management (CRM).
