Role summary

Our customer is looking for a meticulous and highly proficient Audit officer to join their team in Ibadan. The successful applicant will play a main responsibility in making sure adherence, strengthening internal regulates, and safeguarding the company against risks and fraud.

Primary duties

• Help during planning phase and execution of internal audit methods.
• Carry out audits across organisation sites, departments, and processes.
• Organize and show clear audit documentation in line with guidelines.
• Evaluate and test operational structures and standardized processes to guarantee adherence.
• Recognize risks, bring to attention audit findings, and endorse corrective measures.
• Engage in sessions to discuss audit results and enhancements.
• Support to the development of the yearly internal audit strategy.
• Submit application business intelligence to identify discrepancies, fraud, or internal theft.

Competencies & Credentials

• Bsc in Business Management, Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.
• CIA accreditation is highly recommended.
• Prior expertise with one of the Big 4 firms (Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PwC) is a plus.
• 3 – 6 years of expertise in internal/external audit.
• Robust logical, issue resolution, and verbal abilities.
• High level of honesty and reliability and meticulousness.
• Must be Nigerian.
