Servicing & maintenance Manager - Mechanical at Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc in Apapa, Lagos

Position Explanation

Oversee the efficient servicing & maintenance of all the machines in the mills to guarantee that they are executing productively and productively.

Duties

• Strategy and arrange preventive servicing & maintenance of the applicable machines to guarantee servicing & maintenance plans are followed.
• Work on machine pro-plant produced by pro-strategy system.
• Ensure reduction of non-operational time to the barest at least to prevent loss due to machine non-operational time.
• Strategy and order spare parts and resources for servicing & maintenance work to avoid postponement due to material accessibility.
• Record servicing & maintenance records for evaluation and future letter of recommendation.
• Technical Development and development of technical subordinates to enhance effectiveness.
• Regulate usage of materials and resources for most effective effectiveness of machines.
• Verify and endorse agreement honors for 3rd party servicing & maintenance solutions to guarantee adherence to specification.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or Higher national diploma in Mechanical Engineering. At least 5 years’ cognate expertise in similar position.

The Person Must:

• Possess outstanding verbal and professional writing competencies.
• Solid understanding of servicing & maintenance management methods, corrosion prevention methods, pneumatics, and conveyor operational structures.
• Critical thinking to recognize root causes and execute efficient initiatives.
• Initiative-driven approach to recognizing and addressing servicing & maintenance concerns.
• Productive organizing and implementation of servicing & maintenance plans.
