About the Position

  • We are looking for a strategic, meticulous, and implementation-attentive Chief of operations to head and expand our business backbone.
  • As the primary owner of operations excellency in one of Nigeria’s fastest-growing fintechs, you will supervise sophisticated stock chain networks, oversee orientation frameworks, and implement targeted retention programs.
  • This position needs robust critical thinking, executive guidance expertise, and practical issue resolution with resources like Excel and SQL. 
  • You will also oversee external vendor connections, which includes talks with international hardware suppliers in China, and work alongside cross-operationally to supply smooth client experiences at scale.

Primary duties

  • Head the comprehensive logistics and allocation plan for POS devices, making sure productive dispatch within SLAs, reverse logistics, and asset recovery.
  • Supervise stock organizing and regulate, making sure most effective inventory levels across various hubs and fulfillment associates.
  • Bargain and oversee procurement connections with international vendors, specially manufacturers and suppliers in China.
  • Oversee warehouse team, and enhance methods for fix tracking, replacements, and instantaneous stock visibility.
  • Track stock turnover, aging, and replenishment cycles.
  • Enhance the ongoing stock management system by operating with product/technology teams.
  • Scale an productive client orientation pipeline with combined adherence (KYC/AML) checks.
  • Oversee processes for KYC paperwork review, exception managing, and SLA compliance.
  • Work alongside product and adherence teams to streamline authorization logic and automatic control.
  • Head processes behind client lifecycle plans which includes merchant reactivation and effectiveness marketing.
  • Track asset utilization and proactively recognize underperforming regions or segments.
  • Formulate and ensure adherence to standard operating standardized processes (SOPs) to assist scalability and uniformity across markets.

Qualifications

  • Bsc in Engineering, Business Management, Economics, or associated fields
  • At least 5 years of expertise in Processes, Plan, Logistics, or similar domains
  • Improved Excel competence (dashboards, modeling, pivots, automatic control)
  • Practical understanding of SQL (data extraction, status updates, effectiveness evaluation)
  • Robust project coordination and analytical abilities
  • Expertise coordinating or managing large site teams
  • Clear articulation, stakeholder engagement, and cross-operational partnership
  • Capability to excel in dynamic, high-growth, and implementation-heavy environments
  • Expertise in building/optimizing stock management operational structures
  • Understanding with POS terminals, payments, or KYC flows
  • Prior work in startups or digital-first environments.
