Chief of Investor Relations at VFD Group Plc in Lagos

Position Overview

The Chief, Investor and Connection Management is in charge of top the Group’s investor relations plan and strengthening information exchange with shareholders, analysts, and institutional investors. The position will lead transparency, build confidence with participants, and ensure the prompt distribution of financial and business information to assist informed strategic judgment. The role also manages the Group’s external participant relation, yearly income calls, market intelligence, and implementation of authorized frameworks and rules, while championing the Group’s "sales-first" culture and aligning business development endeavors with corporate targets.

Primary duties

• Formulate and implement the Group’s Investor Relations structure, making sure prompt correspondence with investors and analysts.
• Supervise yearly and every quarter status updates, investor demonstrations, and income calls.
• Oversee connections with institutional investors, authorities, and other key external participants.
• Execute board of directors-authorized J10 regulatory framework and other compliance frameworks within accepted timelines.
• Head market analysis, rival evaluation, and economic intelligence to mentor business decisions.
• Advocate and embed the Group’s “sales-first” culture across all teams.

Qualifications

• Robust financial and logical strategic insight with the capability to analyze sophisticated data.
• Outstanding documented, verbal, and public speaking.
• Proven participant and connection management proficiency.
• Robust project coordination and planning abilities.
• Deep understanding of financial markets, market trends, and investor conduct.
• Bsc in Finance, Business, Economics, or relevant field.
• Postgraduate degree or a member of a professional body (e.g., CFA, ACCA, ICAN) preferred.
• 8–12 years of related experience in investor relations, analysis, or financial solutions.
