Position Overview

The Chief operator will supervise the day-to-day activities, financial effectiveness, visitor expertise, and entire management of the shortlet apartment business. This position requires a combination of hospitality proficiency, real estate management, sales/promotion competencies, and operations excellency to guarantee high occupancy rates, profit margin, and superior visitor fulfillment.

Customer service experience:

• Ensure smooth visitor experiences from reservation to departure processing.
• Manage visitor service issues, response, and special requests promptly and competently.
• Preserve high ratings across reservation channels (Airbnb, Reservation.com, etc.).

Business promotion / sales:

• Formulate promotion plans to draw in new guests and retain repeat customers.
• Oversee digital property posts across various channels, making sure precision and attractiveness.
• Work alongside digital brand promoters to boost visibility through social platforms, SEO, and ads.

Team lead:

• Hire, educate, and lead staff members which includes front office, room maintenance services, and servicing & maintenance employees.
• Offer direction, mentoring, and results tracking to employees.
• Promote a client-first culture across the company.

Adherence & Safety:

Guarantee adherence with health, safety, and local compliance obligations. Supervise guard procedures for visitor and real estate safety.

Key Qualifications

• Bsc in hotel management Management, Business Management, or relevant field (Master’s will be an added advantage).
• At least 5+ years expertise in hotel management, hotel management, serviced apartments, or shortlet processes.
• Deep knowledge of real estate management operational structures, reservation channels (Airbnb, Reservation.com, etc.), and hospitality practices.
• Established leadership and team leadership abilities.
• Clear articulation, issue resolution, and client support abilities.
• Financial strategic insight and expertise in financial planning and income management.
• Adaptive schedule to operate evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
