Job Description
Position Overview
We are looking for a initiative-driven and skilled Human resources Officer to join our team in Ibese, Ogun State. This position requires a firm knowledge of Human resources processes, workplace engagement, hiring process, and adherence with work legal provisions.
Primary duties
- Oversee comprehensive hiring process methods: procurement, interviewing, orientation
- Preserve employee records, HRIS, and ensure recordkeeping adherence
- Assist wage processing processing and ensure precise records of presence and depart
- Manage workplace engagement and settle office clashes competently
- Organize work assessment methods and development plans
- Track Human resources rules and guarantee adherence with Nigerian work legal provisions
- Help in the execution of Human resources plans in sync with organisation targets
- Preserve disciplinary standardized processes and assist disciplinary hearings where necessary
- Organize Human resources documentation for management strategic judgment
- Assist health, safety, and welfare programs across the staff
Qualifications
- Applicants should have an Higher national diploma/Bsc in HR, Business Management, Industrial Relations, or relevant field
- 3–5 years Human resources expertise, ideally in production operations or milling industry
- Sound expertise in Nigerian employment regulation and Human resources industry standards
- Robust interpersonal, information exchange, and planning abilities
- Competence with Office productivity software and Human resources software/HRIS operational structures
- Capability to manage private information with competence and honesty and reliability
- Membership of a specialist Human resources body (e.g. CIPM) is a plus
